3D-scanning at GCM

By 3D-scanning GCM is able of making a realistic as built view of
the installed installations, piping, steel constructions and more.

The scanner delivers highest quality 3D data and HDR imaging at
an extremely fast scan rate of 1 mio points per second at ranges of
up to 270 meter with a range accuracy of 1,2 mm over full range.
The new design can be drawn in the 3D scan. By designing in this
way, collisions can be detected in an early stage.

Another advantage of this 3D scanning is the possibility of
producing new parts when the original drawings are no longer
available.
