The vIRalert 2 fixed thermal imaging system provides good accuracy at a distance of more than 1.8 meters from the human body (usually the face) and automatically alerts you to potential risks using a simple and intuitive program.
By continuously comparing the thermal image with a calibration source calibrated at 38˚C, the vIRalert 2 system can provide accurate and reliable skin temperature measurements at pedestrian areas such as airports, train stations, hospitals, town halls, libraries, office buildings, factories, chemical plants and many other places where temperature elevation is not desired .
The system gives the image a clearly visible green (okay) and red (too high temperature) image and possibly an audible warning when a pedestrian with an elevated temperature is detected, making it easy to decide whether a person should be checked further for recording. You are immediately assured that everyone is measured.
With a typical detection distance of 2 meters, the system provides a field of view of 140 x 110 cm from the thermal imager.
A vIRalert system includes a thermal imager, certified black body source, connection cables and tripod for the camera with options for easy wall and ceiling mounting, vIRalert 2 display software and laptop (optional).
