GFS NV, with sites in Grammont and Ostend is an independent company specialized in the storage and handling of liquified gases, refrigerant gases and petroleum products. After a market study, they have chosen to work with Rimses, RealDolmen’s maintenance management software.
To optimize their existing maintenance system, GFS NV was looking for a solution to follow up on their assets, including corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance, spare parts management, consumables management and purchasing. They also expected the solution to manage the documentation and procedures in connection with ISO9000 as well as the issues arising from the various audits (Seveso, Environment, ISO9000, customer audits), control and inspection rounds. All this in a clear and easily manageable way to guarantee detectability and traceability at all times.
It wasn’t long before they chose Rimses because it became clear that Rimses offered an answer to all the issues. They also made the right choice when it comes to security, because Rimses recently increased its functionality with a module for work permits and LockOut-TagOut procedures.
The choice made by GFS confirms once again that there is a perfect match between Rimses and customers in this sector, considering previous successful implementations at Oiltanking and Independent Belgian Refinery.
