There are two types of rotary valve:
– Vsd direct discharge rotary valve
– Vsf through-Flow rotary valve
The first type is commonly used: as a product-metering device in pneumatic transport systems, connected to a special unloading hopper. As a metering device when unloading a product from a storage bin.
The second type is used solely as a metering device for pneumatic transport systems.
Suitable for transport pressures of up to 2 bars or as a sealing and metering device under a decantagion cyclone.
Available sizes: from 4.5 litres/turn to 65 litres /turn. The ideal configuration of the rotor and of the housing is normally defined at the time of ordering, on the basis of the product to be handled.
Optional are the models of the quick-fitting. The SF range is normally supplied for production processes in which quick disassembly is required in order to carry out cleaning for decontamination purposes.
