For the first time, the Maintenance and Pumps & Valves trade shows will take place together in Dortmund. On 29 and 30 March 2017, numerous exhibitors will present current trends and latest standards from the world of maintenance in the Westfalenhallen. At the same time, Pumps & Valves — a trade show for industrial pumps, valves and processes — will make its début in Germany. In the newly opened exhibition hall 5, visitors will meet leading manufacturers and maintenance engineers from the fields of pump and plant engineering as well as process engineering and component construction.
Maintenance and Pumps & Valves is already well booked
With 80 per cent of stands at Maintenance and 70 percent at Pumps & Valves already reserved, both tradeshows in Dortmund are already well booked, reports Daniel Eisele, the show manager at the event’s organiser, Easyshows Deutschland GmbH. “We are very pleased with the strong response, that the two events have received. The large number of ticket orders from trade visitors even four months before the start of the show confirms our concept.” The show’s exhibitors include heavyweights such as Atlas Copco, Aerzen Maschinenfabrik and SEW Eurodrive in the maintenance sector, as well as AUMA Riester, EBARA Pumpen and ZWICK Armaturen in the field of pumps and components. “As a compact, two-day event, Maintenance has been an integral part of our sales concept for our individual service solutions for many
years,” says Stephan Brand, international marketing manager of Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
The expansion of Maintenance to include Pumps & Valves promises numerous synergies for exhibitors and visitors alike. The organiser expects up to 3,500 trade visitors to attend the two-day trade show in Dortmund. This year’s main focus of the programme, which is always well received by visitors and exhibitors, are topics such as software solutions with a focus on industry 4.0 and the implementation of digitisation for SMEs.
