When our first customer went live with our solution in 1986, it was based on collaboration. And that’s still the foundation of this professional maintenance management solution. On a regular basis, the Rimses team consults with its partners (for that’s how the traditional supplier-customer relationship is best described in this case) about the changes in maintenance. That consultation is decisive for the definition of the new developments.
And despite the fact that some maintenance principles remained unchanged in the last 30 years, a lot has happened. We focused a lot on things that are important for users. Quick access to key information through the integrated management of all types of data and documents is one of them. But also a simple way to plan work in an efficient and transparent way. The past few years, we also put a lot of effort into working safely, even when it comes to maintenance. New technology also provides us with new opportunities. As a result, things like ”condition-based maintenance” and ”predictive maintenance” are no longer empty words, but reality. Mobile working has also been booming and will continue to grow in the coming years.
Still as fresh as 30 years ago, the Rimses team prepares the next 30 years together with its partners.
