CODIPRO, the Luxembourg-based manufacturer of the swivel lifting rings and one of the main suppliers of OpenSupply, has launched a new product range, which it first presented to the world at AWRF in Minneapolis (USA). The GRADUP is a true revolution in the swivel lifting rings market.
The GRADUP is the result of a close collaboration between CODIPRO’s technical teams and European research centers. According to CODIPRO’s director Christophe Losange, the new products are the state-of-the-art when it comes to lifting technology. The new products have an improved performance, especially with regard to the quality of the materials. And it is that top quality that OpenSupply guarantees in all its components.
Why GRADUP?
The quality of the steel is the main characteristic of swivel lifting rings, often referred to as the grade of the steel, which is optimal for a lifting chain, because the lifting capacity is determined by a combination of the chain’s diameter and the material grade. However, it is not relevant when we’re talking about a lifting element that consists of multiple parts.
And that is exactly the reason that Codipro refuses to play along with its competitors to determine whose steel is the best grade. There are even lifting rings with grade 10, 12, 14, etc. on the market. But that kind of escalation is all about marketing.
