Riwal, the aerial work platform and telehandler rental and sales specialist, has sold its first full electric 28 meter boom lift.
The machine was purchased by Airnace, a Swiss rental company specialized in access equipment, minicranes, telescopic forklifts, vacuum lifters and construction lifts. For a variety of work both inside and outside, such as maintenance on bridges or work in city centers, Airnace needed a 28 meter boom lift which required a reduced noise level without any emissions.
Riwal opted to offer the JLG-860SJ, which has been converted from diesel to a full electric boom lift by Riwal’s expert technical team. While the machine was already available to customers utilizing Riwal’s rental fleet, it is the first time that Riwal sells a full electric 28 meter boom lift into the market. With a noise level below 70 Dba and no carbon emissions whatsoever, this unique 100% electric boom lift is battery powered and has a 400 volt integrated battery charger. The AWP can be used both indoors and outdoors while the modifications do not affect the working envelope of the machine. The machine was delivered in the corporate colors of Airnace.
